The Wisdom of Friends

The State Before Fourth dimension XIII: The Wisdom of Friends, ah, the 13th installment in the Land Before Time series, I can't believe I've seen all the movies. I love how everyone makes fun and says that in that location are five one thousand thousand of these movies, it's not exactly similar they went into the movie theater or anything. Personally, I remember this is all good, why not innovate our beloved characters to a new generation. Not to mention that these stories are a small way of instruction kids how to act. I'd rather have my child watching this vs. Hannah Montana, which I'm yet convinced is hypnotizing children to get Miley Cyrus'due south trained soldiers. Simply it's good to see the gang together once again in this fun little story about sharing.

Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Petrie and Ducky are excited to run across two goofy and lovable xanthous-bellied dinosaurs named Loofah and Doofah, who have lost their fashion while traveling to the distant Berry Valley. Loofah and Doofah seem to be too impuissant to find the manner back, then Littlefoot and the others determine to help their new friends while sharing of import life lessons chosen Wisdoms along the way. By the time they reach Berry Valley, Littlefoot realizes that even though the Yellow Bellies don't follow his Wisdoms very well, their silly techniques work just fine.

The Land Before Fourth dimension 13: The Wisdom of Friends was a nice addition to the story. It wasn't by any means my favorite of the series, it does get a little cheesy after a while, but it'southward all practiced. Like I said before, these movies are bashed by everyone without being given a fair chance. These movies are just a new fashion of showing younger kids how to human action in life, even though these are the morals that our beloved Barney has provided, I have a feeling that these movies don't insult the child'south intelligence every bit much. They have fun songs, proficient animation and our not bad gang of friends that are ever a joy to see on screen. I do recommend this pic for the family, give it a off-white chance, these movies were non bad at all.

Splendid!

Fantabulous series! I do not empathize the low ratings and reviews, they seem to be given by adults reviewing cartoons intended for kids. Take they consulted some kids before rating/reviewing? My guess is they haven't.

My daughters (7 and 8) absolutely LOVED all of them, to the point where they were impersonating various characters, making lego dinosaurs and even dreaming about dinosaurs.

I asked them to charge per unit the movie and they both said 10/10 with a large grin.

Lightweight and Silly

As a devoted fan of the franchise, I found this latest entry to be a lightweight. It has more silliness than actual plot. Littlefoot and his friends meet a lost herd of goofy dinosaurs. They determine that the herd are never going to become dwelling without help. On the way they learn various lessons from each other. Choices can depend as much upon feelings as upon wisdom. Information technology'southward far ameliorate to dance than to worry. Some overnice grapheme moments, but not very much action. For one time it is Grandmother advising Littlefoot, rather than Grandfather. The other adults are largely absent. The narration has been culled since there is very trivial to say after 12 other films. There is no continuity with the Television set serial. Songs are forgettable. 4/10

It would be very wise to stay away from this 2007 animated movie, as this was not Dinomite!

Warning: Spoilers

I'thou sorry to say this, but 'The Land Before Time' moving picture franchise really needs to go the way of the dinosaurs and stay extinct. This 12th movie out of 13th sequels not counting the original flick is one such instance. Produced by Universal Animated Studios & directed by James Mitchell, this cartoon not only recycles the first film by having the group once once again search for a mysterious paradise after an earth milk shake; merely it also dumbed downs the developed driven realistic survival themes of the original to maddening baby levels of comic relief. The introduction of the Dodo Birds similar creatures 'The Xanthous Bellies' to the flick really killed information technology for me. Their care free selfish attitudes and clumsy antics were really obnoxious. None of them really had much redeeming qualities. They come up across as very unlikeable. Not even the vox work from performers like Cuba Gooding Jr. and Sandra Oh could save them. I was really hoping for their characters demise throughout the pic due to their cross nature. Withal, they're somehow were able to survive by unrealistic convenient impaired luck. The action scenes in this movie are actually a step downward from the gritty sharp intense thrills of the kickoff film. After all the Yellow Bellies are able to defeat a group of hungry predators past bouncing on their fat stomachs and whine before another rock slide killed them. What an awful message to teach children! Rather than fight back confronting attackers, just sit on your butt and mutter until karma magically shows up. Pathetic. Some other problem with them besides their mildly derogatory nick names is how out of identify the species await. Similar other critics have pointed out before, they really practice look similar Dr. Seuss creatures. It's so bizarre. That proverb a lot given the plethora of animal species from different time periods already being jarring enough for the series when looked upon from a paleontologist. And I idea the Rainbow faces from the seventh pic were weird. To add together onto the pain the animation is not top notch. Since Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Don Bluth did not aid with the production. The budget for the artwork was really low budget. Yous tin come across interpolation blocky motion and unclean curves during certain parts. The visuals were not that seamless or lavish. As for the voice acting. The performers playing the original group of Dinosaurs were non seasoned thespians. Their unnatural lowkey voices lack range and strong emotional delivery. Not but that but the acting in this don't really match the previous voice performers works in the other movies; especially those involved with Cera and Littlefoot'due south speaking roles. Regardless whoever did all the characters singing work, all them were pretty how out of tune awful. To add together onto that, the new musical numbers 'How Do you Know' and 'Say So' written by Michelle Brourman and Amanda McBroom were not really that good. The beats were generic slowed & the lyrics forgettable mediocre. Information technology'south nowhere near the lovely nature of singer Diana Ross's version of the original song 'If nosotros concur on together'. I also really miss that iconic powerful and emotional James Horner's theme as well. It was not in this motion moving picture. Talking about not being part of this cartoon, the flick doesn't continue much of any of the previous sequel's stories. In that location is no mention of the lands of the mist nor the mysterious island. However, there was nonetheless another Saurus Stone even if different from the last 2. As for previous characters. There is no mention of Chomper or Ruby. The gang acts like they never really existed. Nor those the movie involved the previous well-nigh-expiry experiences with the adults. Those events don't really play factor in Littlefoot's nightmares in the beginning of this pic when it should accept. He quickly fails to recalled those like how he forgot that his elder well-nigh fall downward a cliff during globe shake earlier in the movie. He must actually have brusque term memory. Overall: While this moving picture was released on DVD on with the brusk-lived Tv series 10th episode, "The Hidden Canyon" equally a bonus feature. Both are not really worth excavation for. This indeed was the worst film of all of them. A Tyrannosaurus Wreck!

The Worst Animated Pic Ever Made

Warning: Spoilers

I am going to exist incredibly blunt here. This is the absolute worst blithe movie I have ever seen in my unabridged life beating out Charlotte'south Web 2, Mars Needs Moms and The Surreptitious of Nimh ii! The yellow bellies are extremely obnoxious! They never shut up, they're movements are almost as over exaggerated and hyper every bit Flintstone Lockwood, they're dumb and delirious as heck! Seriously, at that place's one scene in the canyon where the yellowish bellies are sitting there eating berries while at that place are Sharpteeth running towards them! What do they notice? Not a dang thing! Past the way, this movie could've ended if Littlefoot took his friends' requests and just left the yellow bellies to go on the rest of their journey alone! Seriously, every character is an idiot, not but the yellow bellies. The group are all having to relearn lessons that they already mastered movies agone! Besides, this is kind of a nitpick compared to everything else but the overabundance of CGI was too much to bear. Okay back to the yellow bellies for one final time, what is with the comedy surrounding them?! This movie seems to have an obsession with dinosaur butts! Seriously, those were every joke surrounding the yellow bellies! Another horrible thing in this movie is the songs! God these songs are then pretentious and obnoxious! The offset song in unnecessary and abrasive, the 2nd vocal is unnecessary and annoying and the third vocal is unnecessary and annoying! Actually, that pretty much sums upward the unabridged motion-picture show, unnecessary and abrasive!

My to the lowest degree favourite sequel of the LBT franchise

Having enjoyed most of the sequels, specially Stone of Cold Fire, Time of the Great Giving and Great Valley Adventure, I was greatly disappointed in this sequel and consider it the worst of the franchise. The voice acting is a redeeming quality and the film moved quickly, simply everything else didn't work for me. This sequel does have disappointingly lacklustre animation, complete with choppy editing, and the music is forgettable at best. Other cons are clichéd and lazy dialogue, an episodic plot and the vocalisation acting is just variable, some are good but others are not cracking at all. Equally for the characters, Littlefoot is at his least likable and heroic, and Petrie is annoying. And Cera? I know people say she is bratty, but here she is really bratty. Overall, disappointing and almost unwatchable for me. 2/10 Bethany Cox

Non much wisdom

This was the last "Land Before Time" motion-picture show, at least for awhile. It's one of the worst in the whole series, although information technology doesn't really have much of a lower rating than most of the other sequels. This motion picture features Littlefoot and his friends finding a bunch of dinosaurs called yellow bellies. They need to help them find their herd. Halfway through the movie, they actually do, so the moving picture'southward over, right? Nope. It but extends into an even more pointless flick as the gang helps the yellow bellies around. Oh, and the sharptooths announced and are weaker than ever.

I even has a massive scar and he can't do annihilation! Anyhow, the animation probably isn't worse than the other movies. What makes this worse is that these yellow bodies are so annoying. They have these bad voices and are mostly dumb. We have to deal with these guys the whole film and they're easily the worst guest characters in the movies. We become some moral about following more on instinct than wisdom or something like that. Information technology's very clichéd and makes for a lame movie. *one/2

Calorie-free-hearted on the story, and the morals are splashed in your face

Warning: Spoilers

I decided to rewrite this review later watching the moving picture once more.

Let me start off by saying I'k a big fan of the Land Before Time series, and it's inverse my life more than than anything else I can think of. With that taken care of, I volition tell you why I gave this motion picture a seven out of ten rating.

It starts off pretty normal and fun. The style The State Before Time should exist. But as time goes on, you lot seem to notice the humor is a little different, the words are more basic, and it just keeps getting wilder from there. I know the yellowbellies are supposed to be weird and unlike, but this goes too far. Sometimes even the main gang was interim out of character. The story, while venturing into the mysterious beyond, did not have high enough stakes. It was more of a moral-learning story than anything else, and even then, the morals were a little bit as well like shooting fish in a barrel to recognize. That beingness said, the voices of the characters were keen. However, they inverse Littlefoot'southward voice (again!), and at present he sounds similar a mix between Aaron Spann (Land Before Fourth dimension XI) and Scott McAfee (Land Earlier Time Ii-Iv)--mayhap a little Brandon LaCroix (Land Earlier Time 5) in there; and while I like Scott McAfee'south vocalization, Cody Arens' (Land Before Fourth dimension Xiii) vocalisation did not really fit what you lot expect from Littlefoot. The groundwork artistry was slap-up, the animation very good, and Michael Tavera doing his magic with the orchestral music. One or two of the songs were kind of catchy, but if you notice, it's a jump dorsum from what Michele Brourman and Amanda McBroom ordinarily do. A different style. I don't know if they were told to do it that way, but it doesn't sell as well as some of their other fabulous work on the other Land Earlier Time sequels. I heard from a source that this movie also had a lower budget. Also, notice how the master managing director and producer isn't Charles Grosvenor.

All-in-all, information technology was a lite-hearted, TV episode-style movie, with all of your favorite friends. Long fourth dimension fans volition still enjoy this movie, too every bit the new young watchers!

The Worse Picture Ever Fabricated!!

According to Revelations v:10, this is the start sign of the finish times.

This movie is the cancer that is killing moving picture.

Cuba Gooding Junior's Oscar should be revoked for his participation in this cesspool.

If I ever discover my kids viewing this film, I will enhance them to become feral children.

I have very literally never, in my entire life, been and then disappointed by a move film.

This movie is the worst thing every animated, and doesn't deserve to have been made.

I've seen every Land Before Fourth dimension and this is by far the worst one ever!

This movie should be buried and never dug upward!

I love this movie.

Yous heard that right, I actually really enjoy this film. I think it is a very fun and whimsical moving picture. The Yellow Bellies are probably my favorite graphic symbol additions to the franchise. They really warm my silly niggling heart every time I watch them. Also Cuba Gooding JR and Sandra Oh did a very practiced chore with their roles. The animation is pretty good for a direct to video film as is the case with most of the sequels. Though I do have problems with the motion picture, similar the many animation errors it has, they are very minor and don't ruin information technology for me. If you can handle a pic that is really silly then I recommend this ane.

Delight don't detest this film

MCSaurus on DeviantART is honestly 1 of LBT's biggest fans, many people may not like this motion-picture show but still, there's a lot of effort against this rare merely Crawly moving picture! The TV Series may seem rare but children love information technology, And if all You lot people don't like information technology...and then look again. You should cheque out MCSaurus' Artwork right now, and believe me it looks both gay AND cool! He fifty-fifty has his very own LBT Franchise the 'Bellisaurs' that looks totally cool X3 His dinosaur stuff is brilliant and and so besides does this film, Films 2-12 may seem a niggling sluggish and tedious just at least like them! PLEASE! Spread this godly moment right here on IMDb, Children are good with rare films, and rare films are practiced with them, Except Romeo & Juliet Sealed with a Osculation (2006) Which was pathetic!!!

remember information technology can only get improve :)

most people say they did not similar it, just the truth is it was a beautiful film. upwards to my knowledge the land before fourth dimension is made for the enjoyment and so that the viewers can learn near real life. this item film is very sweet. the new characters are full of joy and happiness. when information technology started i thought cracking they totally ruined information technology but equally you become to know the characters more than you see that they merely added what was missing, they can never make information technology worse they tin can simply brand information technology improve.i have loved the land before fourth dimension since i was just a young girl, of grade back then it was new. the more i watched information technology the more i fell in love with the characters. this movie simply made me love them more.

Definitely Non The All-time In The Series

This motion-picture show volition fully and seriously entertain anyone under 5 years old just if you are an adult, then information technology is then dire compared to the original that you volition exist in hysterics. It is a bright upbeat moving picture but seems to be somewhat lacking in the plot a picayune. There isn't much 'atmosphere' in the picture show. I call up this is more than humorous than anything. As long as you don't expect to be likewise engaged and you don't take it seriously and go along with its upbeat fun aspects, yous will be able to have a chance of enjoying this movie, if however yous expect it to be anything like the original or even previous sequels still then you will probably be bored and a chip shocked at what Land Earlier Time has become. I accept given this movie a 5 out of 10 because despite it existence 1 of the worst sequels in my stance, information technology gets extra stars for being like an virtually total funny mockery.

How?

Warning: Spoilers

In my opinion all of the land before time sequels mostly range from good to pretty crawly, with the lowest score I will give is 7.v. Wisdom of friends is the sole exception here.

Now when this motion picture starts it's pretty standard for this series, and it looks like nosotros're getting a plot well-nigh Littlefoot losing his conviction and having to gain it back. Perfect that lone would hold the movie for at least a good hour, simply no sadly nosotros needed to become this plot going so we can get to the bodily primary plot of the movie.

So after the first song, we are introduced to pretty much the country before fourth dimension Cleveland of Jar jar binks, the Yellow bellies. Why do I say their like Jar Jar well a couple reasons.

First from the scene their introduced all the way until the end these things are e'er on screen and around the middle mark the staff who made this decided but iii of them was lazy and endeavour to shove a whole herd of them downward our throats. Someone evidently really wants us to like them so they shove as many every bit they can in our face as they can.

Like Jar jar these guys do not go through any sort of character development, they are exactly the same from start to stop, and worse is that they shove the main characters aside.

Littlefoot's plot is relegated to the b plot, and the other four have no major roles aside from being support for Littlefoot which in any other picture would be fine, except the focus their not getting is instead put over at far less interesting characters.

The only reason this flick isn't a lower rating is cause Littlefoot and the others stay in character through the whole movie. Like I said his matter almost losing confidence is very interesting and I wanted to see that resolved at the very to the lowest degree. These characters interactions are always very good and well done.

What'southward worse is that for a long time this looked similar the big finale to the whole matter, thank you Journey of the Brave for existing.

The most infamous one of this ridiculesly mediocre franchise

State Before Time is may not my favorite Don Bluth (Because The Secret Of NIMH and All Dogs Go To Heaven exist) But this motion-picture show and probably theb whole franchise is so boring

And 13???? There's 13 of them??? Because the 14th ane is already out!

Far from the worst animated flick, but really this movie offers naught new, instead of watching this, go spotter the original Land Before Time!

Warning: Spoilers

This is NO Doubt the worst of the franchise it makes no sense and makes new it'southward characters so annoying you'll want to jump through the screen and slap them silly Littlefoot and friends have no reason to follow them but notwithstanding THEY DO And then Anyway!!!

Stay abroad from this moving picture at ALL Cost

Guilty pleasance, merely I love information technology

I know many dislike and take their reasons to hate this moving picture, especially judging how long the Land Before Time franchise has lasted with then many movies. I have seen many movies in the franchise and I dare say this is one of my favorite LBT movies.

For a franchise that has been standing for years and having sequels in films can no longer be taken seriously anyway, the drama and crying shown in the early films has saturated and lost its grace, later all we are talking virtually a series where characters never grow similar to Pokémon. I really dearest the Xanthous Bellies in particular, Loofah and Doofah who are really unique and fun characters, and forgive me purist paleontologists, but I also Dearest their blueprint. X3 The fact that the movie shifts from the drama cliché and focuses more on comedy too gives information technology a fresher and more different experience which makes this movie more fun to watch.

I really wish I could see more of Loofah, Doofah and Foobie, if only in a spin-off series focused solely on them (of course without making changes to their cute design and goofy behavior). This movie might not be suitable for anyone looking for something serious involving dinosaurs, simply it's a moving-picture show that I certainly discover fun to sentinel.
